The brief: Create a unique new venue for the waterfront
The response: Sixteen Tun
We didn’t want to create any old bar. We wanted a destination that people would come to for what it would uniquely serve, something that people could connect to emotionally. Craft beer was being rediscovered. It was shaping up as a long-term affair not a one-night stand. At its heart was a deeply passionate community for whom the detail of design was a delight. We designed a temple to their love of craftsmanship. The award winning project was a complex coordination between designers, builders, creatives, chefs, managers and employees to ensure that every detail connected to the brand to tell its absorbing story. If you haven’t been there yet we recommend you do.
